My Story

Hi! I’m Brittany. I’ve been designing brand identities professionally since I was 21, starting at a small creative shop working with pre-seed startups. Getting to define brand foundations at that age was a massive opportunity. I just didn’t realize it yet.
Back then, I was drawn to the big, well-known names. Partly because they were shiny, and partly because I thought they’d give me the kind of career approval previous generations talked about. So I went on to design ads and campaigns for household brands like Macy’s, AMEX, Ford, and Volkswagen, before moving in-house to venture-backed startups like Justworks and Superhuman.
Through all of it, I realized my favorite work was actually what I was doing in those early days: building brand identities from scratch.
When you work in-house, if you’re lucky like I was, you get to design the brand once. The rest of the job is working inside a living, breathing identity. To be honest, I spent a lot of time chasing the feeling I got when I designed the identity for the first time, and few things came close.
But living inside those brands made me a much better designer. I got to see where brand systems bend, break, and scale. It trained my brain for pattern recognition, which is why I can design so quickly today.

So I’m going back to offering only what I consider my “zone of genius". The place where my passions meet my innate talents. The place I find myself losing track of time.
I’m also building a living, breathing brand of my own: a recipe-saving app called Wellby. Cooking is my other passion.
Building my own brand in today’s landscape keeps my work current – both in visual identity and real-world execution.
And as a new mom to my baby boy, Tate, my time is more precious than ever.
In building a business model that works for this version of my life, Motherhood, I happened to build one that works better for yours, too.
Because even outsourcing work can take up way too much of your time, and I don’t want that for you.
